First, what is ITIL? And what are the benefits?

ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), which in Portuguese means “Information Technology Infrastructure Library”, was created in 1980 and is a library with best practices in IT service management processes, if suitable for any area of ​​activity. Its purpose is that you can achieve effectiveness and efficiency in your IT services and it can be used by any company, regardless of size.

With the use of ITIL you can reduce IT operational costs, increase employee satisfaction levels, have a process orientation with a significant decrease in execution times and service distribution, among many others.

The ITIL certification

The ITIL certification aims to train and certify professionals, enabling them to contribute in the areas of IT, in the integration and delivery of solutions and services.

There are 4 levels of certification:

1) Foundation

This exam certifies the professional to the basic knowledge of ITIL, to increase the quality of IT service management. It is also a certification that gives you a knowledge base for a complete ITIL exam program.

There are 40 questions, where you should have a 65% pass rate (26 out of 40 questions). In this certification you can take the test in Portuguese.

2) Advanced

This certification aims to demonstrate that the professional is equipped with the most essential skills to apply ITIL concepts in your organization. There are 40 questions where you must hit 28 or more, that is, a minimum of 70% correct answers.

3) Intermediate

These certifications are focused on specific content that encompasses one or more stages of the IT service lifecycle. Altogether there are 10 different types of certifications and some of them you can take the test in Portuguese.
